Adam Ondra Climbs His 100th 5.14d

According to the climber’s site 8a.nu, Adam Ondra has recorded his 100th 5.14d.

The Chzech climber is regarded as the best rock climber in the world with a number of milestone routes to his name.

His 100th 5.14d was the first ascent of Pure Dreaming in Arco. “In total, the 25 year old has now recorded 157 routes 9a and harder out of which 100 5.14ds,” reported 8a.nu.

“Bare in mind that the Czech is the top climbers who most often gives personal up- or downgrades, the one having the widest grade pyramid, highest portion of onsights and FAs.

“He is also the top climbers that most frequent reports chipped routes. In total, Adam has recorded 1 975 routes in his scorecard.”

He’s onsigested dozens of hard 5.14 climbs, including Gravere 5.14d in Italy and Il Domani 5.14d in Spain.

On Valentine’s Day this year, he made the first-ever flash of a 5.15a with his climb of Supercrackinette in France.
