Adam Ondra is in Canmore, but so is Jonathan Siegrist

Adam Ondra is in Canmore climbing hard routes as we reported yesterday, but so is Jonathan Siegrist.

That makes two internationally recognized 5.15 climbers who have moved to the Bow Valley for at least a month.

Ondra has countless 5.15 sends and Siegrist recently made the third ascent of Jumbo Love 5.15b in California. Siegrist has also climbed Chaxi 5.15a, Joe Mama 5.15a, Pachamama 5.15a, La Rambla 5.15a and many other hard lines.

With Siegrist is the super strong American Shaina Savoy, they spent the afternoon in windy weather at Acephale.

Also heading to Canmore this summer is Sasha DiGiulian, Edu Marin and Mike Doyle, among many other worldly crushers.

With some of the world’s best climbers hanging out in the Bow Valley, we look forward to some historical sends going down in our cold and windy summer.

Siegrist is no stranger to Canada, he made the third ascent of Spirit from the West 5.14a in Squamish in 2016. Watch below.
