Adam Ondra Sends Pachamama 5.15 in Spain

Adam Ondra has sent Pachamama 5.15a in Oliana, Spain. On Instagram, Ondra said, “Next on the list is an amazing linkup bolted by Chris Sharma of Papichulo and Pachamama.” According to 8a.nu, Ondra has sent 43 climbs 5.15a or harder.

“Chose Pachamama 5.15a (hard) as a project to start my trip with, due to its power endurance character I thought it would be great training and yesterday fell two times in a row going into to the final jug. Really heart braking to fall off after so much effort on this 40 metre monster.” Ondra goes on to note he wants to try to link Papichulo 5.15a and Pachamama, which Ondra notes could be 5.15b or 5.15c. Pachamama was first climbed by Chris Sharma and repeated by Sachi Amma and Jakob Schubert.
