Alex Honnold on What You Need to Know For Paris Olympics
Climbing will be taking place in its second Summer Olympic Games at the end of this month, here's a breakdown

The 2024 Paris Olympics start at the end of the month, and unlike in Tokyo, the sport of climbing is going to be split into two different disciplines in Paris: Boulder & Lead Combined and Speed. In total, 20 men and 20 women will compete in the Boulder & Lead Combined event. In Speed, 14 men and 14 women will face off.

The climbing events in the Olympics run from Aug. 5 to 10, with the men’s Boulder & Lead final being held on Aug. 9 and the women’s Boulder & Lead final being held on Aug. 10.
