Alex Megos and Magnus Midtbø Go Training
Two of the world's best rock climbers team up for a YouTube video

Two of the world’s most famous and strong climbers have teamed up for a training session that just dropped on YouTube. Many of the 2.3 million subscribers Magnus Midtbø’s page have been requesting a training sessions with Alex Megos for years, so Midtbø delivered.
German climber Megos became the first-ever climber to onsight a 5.14d back in 2013. Since then he’s gone on to send some of the world’s hardest routes, including Perfecto Mundo 5.15c and Bibliographie 5.15c, and several 5.15bs with Fight Club, Ratstaman Vibrations, and The Full Journey; he’s also climbed a handful of V15s.
Midtbø became the fourth climber ever to onsight a 5.14c with his send of Cosi Fan Tutte in Spain back in 2013. Over the years, he’s gone on to climb hard routes like Thor’s Hammer 5.15a and Ali Hulk Extension 5.15b. He retired from competition climbing in May 2017, saying, “I still get motivated just by climbing, I think some people need a specific goal, but I’ve never felt like I needed one.”
