Alex Megos in Switzerland flashes another 5.14+

This flash is of a 5.14c and comes shortly after his first flash of a 5.14d

Alex Megos continues his sending spree with yet another flash of a hard sport routes, this time with a repeat of Chromosome Y at Charmey in Switzerland.

The first ascent was by Pirmin Bertle in 2012 at 5.14d, but Megos has suggested a grade of 5.14c. Megos, 28, is fresh off a flash of Intermezzo XY gelöst at Plombergstein in Austria, his first pure 5.14d flash.

Megos was the third climber to send 5.15c with his route Perfecto Mundo in Spain, and again with his climb Bibliographie in France. He also made the first ascent of Fight Club 5.15b in Canada, and the third ascent of First Round First Minute 5.15b.

Over a number of visits to Canada, Megos flashed The Path 5.14R, onsighted The Shining 5.13+ 15 pitches on Mount Louis and made the fourth ascent, in a day, of Dreamcatcher 5.14d in Squamish. In Ontario, he made the first ascents of two V12s at the Niagara Glen.
