Alex Megos Sends New 5.14d in America

Alex Megos has sent a 23-year-old project at New River Gorge, West Virginia.

The Super Pod route was bolted in two sections in 1992, one year before Megos was born. The first section is called the Pod 5.13b and is a popular climb. The second section had never been sent.

DPM reported that Megos sent the second section, which includes five metres of bouldering up to V12. In cool Megos style, he has sent the hardest route in one of the most famed sport climbing areas on a continent.
