American Politician Doesn’t Like Climbing Walls

Rock climbing isn’t usually a political issue, but New Jersey governor Chris Christie just made it one.
The right-wing American recently slammed programs and facilities at colleges that are costing students too much.
Part of that attack in New Hampshire last week was a criticism of the University of New Hampshire’s decision for building a climbing wall.
Christie said, “What the hell do you need a rock climbing wall for… There’s a rock climbing wall epidemic going on… They’re everywhere. God knows what else they’re building on these campuses that’s costing us a ton of money that we don’t know.”
His mocking of the structures goes back to early this year when this clip was filmed:
