Craig Luebben died yesterday after being hit by a large chunk of ice while climbing Mount Torment in the Cascade Range of Washington. Luebben was a talented climber, author and inventor whose numerous instructional climbing books and articles were enjoyed by readers across the world. Off-width climbers will also remember Luebben for his development of Big Bros, which revolutionized wide-crack  protection. Luebben leaves behind his wife Silvia and their your daughter Giulia Maria.
