Aug 10, 2011 – Trotter and Caldwell Climb The Shining

Sonnie Trotter and Tommy Caldwell have redpointed The Shining 5.13c/d, an impressive 15-pitch route (with seven bolted pitches) on the Diamond Face on Mount Louis in the Canadian Rockies. Having established the climb in July after three days of work and a total of 50-hours of climbing, the pair returned to bag a redpoint ascent of the entire route.
