On July 28, 2011, Dick Culbert (now in his 70s and with a replaced knee) came out of a 40-year retirement from climbing to make a historic ascent of Skywalker 5.8 in Squamish.

On July 28, 2011, Dick Culbert (now in his 70s and with a replaced knee) came out of a 40-year retirement from climbing to make a historic ascent of Skywalker 5.8 in Squamish. The five-pitch route was developed in fall of 2010 by Jeremy Frimer and follows parts of Dick Culbert’s 1967 first ascent of Forked Flume.
