August 11, 2010 – Pidgeon Calmly Crushes Agoraphobia

Having returned from sampling some fine east coast bouldering in Newfoundland, Thomasina Pidgeon turned her attention to her local Squamish boulders and quickly dispatched Agoraphobia V11. The reachy problem had stumped Pidgeon until she discovered a new sequence that allowed her to avoid the height-dependant  move.  “It has a real long move on it that I could never do but I figured some cool beta that worked. I think it is the original way it got done,” said Pidgeon.

This ascent adds another V11 to Pidgeon’s impressive tick list making her a prime candidate for the title of North America’s top female boulderer.
