Having equipped over 1 600 climbs, Norway’s Borre Bergshaven may be the world’s most prolific new route developer. Bergshaven started bolting routes in 1990 while living in Spain and continued to develop new climbs in Norway since moving back in 1993. Not content with just equipping new lines, Bergshaven developed and manufactured 40 000 of his own glue- in bolts and is currently organizing the Norwegian Rock Master competition that begins on August 27. More details here and here.
