Bayes Wilder, 12, Climbing 5.14c in Wyoming
The young American recently ticked General Litzenheimer in Wyoming. Watch the send below

Bayes Wilder, who’s only 12 years old but has amassed a long list of hard sends, has climbed the rarely repeated General Litzenheimer 5.14c in Ten Sleep, Wyoming.
In fall 2022, Wilder had a strong trip to Spain, where he onsighted Pollastre de Granja 5.13b, flashed Freeman 5.13b and Sargantana Killer 5.13c in a day, then sent La Fabelita 5.14b and Mistic 5.14b in a day. He sent two 5.14b’s in a day at 11 years old. His first 5.14c was Southern Smoke in Red River Gorge, and he has climbed several hard boulders, including Rumble in the Jungle V12 in Hueco Tanks.
Wilder has been climbing since he was only two years old, thanks to his dad Matt Wilder, who’s climbed 5.14d and V14, and who runs his son’s Instagram page. Also this summer, Bayes has been projecting Pneuma 5.14d in Ten Sleep.
James Litz first climbed General Litzenheimer in 2009 as one of the several hard new Ten Sleep routes he sent that summer, with others being Porcelain 5.14a, Private Halfenheimer 5.14a, Galactic Emperor 5.14a, The Great Pile Of Pumpkin Puke 5.14a, FITA 5.14b, and Master Of The Universe 5.14d.
