Bouldering Nationals and Tour de Bloc This Weekend

There are two major competitions in Canada this weekend, one in B.C. and one in Quebec.

In Vancouver, one of the popular climbing gyms is The Hive, which added a second gym this year called The Hive North Shore.

The first competition to take place at the new Hive location will be the CEC National/Sport Climbing B.C. bouldering comp this weekend.

It will be a busy competition as there are eight categories, from Youth A to Experienced, which climbers can register for.

There will be a number of strong climbers making the trip to Vancouver from around B.C., Alberta and even Saskatchewan. All eyes will be on Eric Sethna, who has won four Tour de Blocs this season. For the schedule and format, visit here.

In Quebec, the Tour de Bloc will be making a stop at the D’escalade Vertical in Montreal for the Goldfinger comp. To register, visit here.
