Caldwell Sends The Path, 5.14R
On a rainy day with cool temps, American hard man sends Canadian test-piece
Tommy Caldwell has been spending time in Canada with partner Sonnie Trotter. Over the last few weeks he has been ticking hard routes. Today he sent The Path, 5.14R, at Back of the Lake.
This is one of the few ascents the route has had since Trotter first chopped the bolts and sent the bold route on gear.
Caldwell returns home tomorrow and will be competing at Psicobloc, the deep water soloing competition this weekend.
