Canadians Advance to Semis at Denver Ice World Cup

The final UIAA Ice World Cup is taking place in Denver

Three Canadians have advanced to semis at the Denver Ice World Cup on Sat. Feb. 23 out of nine competing.

Gord McArthur finished in first in North America after qualifications and 10th overall, with Nathan Kutcher and David Bouffard finishing in 12th and 13th respectively. The other male climbers finished in Nicholaus Vietra 30th, Ian MacNairn 33rd, Matt Westlake 34th and Greg Ashcrot 35th.

No women advanced to semis, but they just missed the 18th place cut-off with Rebecca Lewis in 19th and Lyndsay Houstaon in 20th. Watch semis tomorrow below and see full results here.
