Cedric Lachat Sends Pachamama 5.15a in Spain

This is his sixth of the grade

Cedric Lachat has climbed Pachamama 5.15a in Oliana, spain, watch a video from the upper crux below. This was Lachat’s sixth 5.15a and is planning to project Mami Chula 5.15b, which links Pachamama and Papichuloa. It was first linked by Adam Ondra.

“I wanted to try a 5.15b,” said Lachat. “After receiving some info about the routes, I decided to try Mami Chula because it’s long and less complicated with these conditions. Lachat has also climbed Papichulo, Chaxi a Oliana, La Cene du Lezard, Sweet Neuf and La Rambla.

Pachamama was first climbed by Chris Sharma and has been repeated by Adam Ondra, Jakob Schubert, Jon Siegrist and others. On a side note, a popular Spanish climbing area is for sale and access might be at risk. To learn more visit here.

. . It’s done ! After a good fight I send faster then expected my project in Oliana “pachamama” 9a+. Super happy to send this monster of endurance. Now time to take a look to “mamichula” 9b. Gonna be hard ! Two movements are super hard for me but I hear I need to be less lazy and work the routes so I’m gonna spend time here !
