Climber Races Up Iconic Peaks in Record Times
Nadir Maguet has transitioned from a competitive skier to climber who's staying busy grabbing FKTs
Nadir Maguet set several fastest known times (FKTs) this summer with speedy ascents of three iconic peaks: Grossglockner, Piz Bernina and Ortles. The champion skier is from the Aosta Valley.
He climbed the Biancograt on Piz Bernina in 2:44:13, Ortler Hintergrat at 3,905 metres in 1:43:12, and up the southwest ridge route called the Stüdlgrat on Grossglockner (3,798 m) at 1:30:23. Watch a short film below highlighting moments from Maguet’s climbs.
