John Wier (1954 – 2012)

Gripped was saddened to hear that long time Ontario climbing local John Wier died last week. He was an important figure on the Ontario scene and had established many popular climbs. In recent years Wier had focused his time on developing the climbing in Potrero Chico and providing climbing gear for the local children.
