Could You Climb This Scary Yosemite Pitch?
Oliver Tippett has dropped some footage from one of his most dangerous aid climbing solos on El Capitan

Earlier this year, British big wall climber Oliver Tippett climbed several test-piece El Capitan aid routes, some with a partner and many without. His multi-wall visit to the Valley is one of the most impressive of the past few years.
He climbed The Reticent Wall (VI A4+), Sea of Dream (VI A4+), Zenyatta Mondatta (VI A4), Virginia (VI A3), Atlantis (VI 5.9 A4) and Tempest (VI 5.8 A4). After returning home, he edited some of the footage and posted it on YouTube.
“After I finished the Reticent I rested for five days before starting up Sea of Dreams,” he said. “This video is from the first three days climbing the route, up to and including the infamous Hook or Book pitch.”
