Eight-Year-Old Crusher

Victoria Gezel is an eight-year-old from Apple Valley, Minnesota, who has been climbing for only two-years. This summer she spent six-weeks living in her van with her family in Colorado. “I sent my first V5, V6 and V7 there. Right now I’m ranked second out of 221 girls in youth D age 11 and under in the USA! Girl power!” said Gezel in an email correspondence. When asked what he greatest send is to date she answered, “It’s a tie between climbing my first V7 in Rocky Mountain National Park and sending a project at Emerald Lake.”
