Jan 18, 2012 – More Details Emerge On Canadian Accident in Patagonia

A small group of elite climbers that includes Rolando Garibotti and Colin Haley yesterday were attempting to reach the position of the possibly fatally injured Canadian climber Carlyle Norman. The team was quickly ferried to the base of the mountain with the help of Red Bull’s helicopter and began climbing up an adjacent route that would allow them to reach Norman’s position.
