The talented Basque climber Iker Pou has bagged the first repeat of Chris Sharma’s Demencia senil, 9a+ in Margalef. The route consists of a section of hard 8c+ (5.14c) climbing followed by an 8A+ (V12) boulder problem. Pou gained international recognition in June 2000 for being the third person to climb Wolfgang Gullich’s difficult masterpiece Action Directe 9a (14d). More details.
