Jesus is a Dinosaur is new 5.14a at Horne Lake

Horne Lake, B.C.

Yannick Neufeld-Cumming has been on a first ascent-spree at Horne Lake on Vancouver Island this spring.

His latest new route is Jesus is a Dinosaur 5.14a, of which he wrote on Sendage.com, “Super stoked to have finished this off today, I bolted it last August but didn’t get much of a chance to climb on it until this spring.

“Climbs through the first crux of pushers [Jesus Saves the Pushers 5.13a] then heads left into a rest before a long sustained boulder problem.”

Neufeld-Cumming also made first ascents of Star Gazer 5.12b and There Are No Trees On Mars 5.12c at Horne this year.

Neufeld-Cumming has climbed a number of 5.14a routes at Horne, including Dinosaur Highway, Northern Highway and Jesus Loves a Linkup.
