June 2, 2011 – 24 Hours Of Climbing For Charity

Canadian climber and World Cup ice-climbing competitor Gord McArthur will be climbing for 24 hours on a 40-foot wall to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Southern Alberta, a charity dedicated to helping children with serious illnesses or disabilities.

The fundraiser is taking place on July 15 and 16 at outdoor wall in Cranbrook, BC. and donations can be made here.

McArthur is recognized as one of the Canada’s top ice-climbing competitors and earlier this year established the new mixed testpiece El Matador M12 in The Bull River, AB.
