Kaleb Thomas Sends Multi-Year V11 Project on Van Island

Kaleb Thomas had worked on Equinox V11 on and off for four years. “I had hesitated on trying it since I moved back to the island because I assumed my training for lead climbing had diminished my power to much to do the crux section,” wrote Thomas on Instagram. “It turns out that circuits on the 45 gave me enough power endurance to pull it together and it felt smooth and controlled to boot. Thanks to everyone who sat around and spotted me over the years.” Thomas has also sent The Egg V11 in Squamish, Shizzam Sit V11 in Bishop and Euro Style Slapfest V11 on Vancouver Island.
