Katie Lamb Repeats New Base Line V14
"It’s a classic boulder that I’ve always wanted to do"
American crusher Katie Lamb has recently repeated New Base Line V14 in Magic Wood in Switzerland. The FA was by Bernd Zangerl and given V15, but the new grade sits a number lower.
She told Gripped, “It’s a classic boulder that I’ve always wanted to do. I was in Magic Wood for a little over a week and the weather and vibes lined up perfectly.” Watch Lamb send Dominator V12 in 2021 in the video below.
It was the second of the grade for the 24-year-old. This summer, she ticked her first V14 with Jade in Rocky Mountain National Park. She grabbed the seventh known send by a woman, after Shauna Coxsey, Alex Puccio, Anna Stohr, Mile Heyden, Marine Thevenet and Linda Sjödin.
