Laura Rogora Continues Sending Spree with 5.14d

This comes only a few days after sending her first 5.15a

Italian crusher Laura Rogora has come out of her covid lockdown with a number of impressive sends and history-making ascents. Last week, she joined the 5.15 club with her second ascent of Adam Ondra’s Pure Dreaming Plus 5.15a at Massone in Arco. She became the fifth woman, and first Italian woman, to climb 5.15; joining crushers Margo Hayes (2017), Anak Verhoeven (2017), Angela Eiter (2017) and Julia Chanourdie (2020).

Rogora, who’s qualified for the Tokyo 2021 Olympics, has just repeated Underground 5.14d in Arco, meaning she has now climbed 12 routes in the 5.14+ or harder range. Watch the send below.

The post-covid-lockdown sending spree has been one for the books over the past few weeks. Just in the past 10 days: Oriane Bertone climbed her first V15, Nolwen Berthier climbed her first 5.14c with La Ligne Claire and Melissa Le Nevé made the first female ascent of Action Directe 5.14d.
