Laura Rogora Sends Her Fifth 5.14d with Esclatamasters

Laura Rogora, who became the second youngest climber ever to send 5.14d at 14 years old, has done her fifth of the grade with a tick of Esclatamasters in Perles.

Now 17, the Italian climber’s first 5.14d was Grandi Gesti at Sperlonga, Italy and her second was Joe-Cita in Oliana, Spain.

Exclatamasters was established by Ramon Julian Puigblanque in 2007 as a soft 5.14d, but after a hold broke the grade has been pushed up. It was Rogora’s first climb of the year, not a bad start to 2019!

Rogora is currently ranked 24th in the world of comp climbing. In 2018, she won gold in female youth A boulder in Moscow for IFSC bouldering and gold for lead at Uster, Bruneck and Voiron in the European Youth Cup.
