Laura Rogora Wins First World Cup in Briancon

And oh yeah, there was a World Cup this weekend!

It’s the first major climbing event since the start of covid-19 in March. While many climbers from around the world couldn’t attend due to quarantine laws, including Canadians, some of the world’s top climbers managed to compete.

It was Laura Rogora’s first world cup win and Adam Ondra took it for the men. World champion Janja Garnbret took silver for women, followed by Fanny Gibert. For men, Ondra was followed by Domen Skofic and Jakob Schubert.
