March 16, 2011 – Meekins and Slawinski Enjoy The Peach

Grant Meekins and Raphael Slawinski have just bagged the first ascent of an impressive new route in the Canadian Rockies. The Peach WI5 M8 110 m is located in Storm Creek and involves engaging climbing through varied terrain. This year’s unusually cold winter has stifled new route activity, but the arrival of more seasonal temperatures will likely encourage local climbers to explore new lines. More details here.
