The National Capital Commission's (NCC) new land management plan recommends closing all the climbing areas within Gatineau Park except for a the small centre section of the Home Cliff, Eastern Block and the Twin Ribs.

The National Capital Commission’s (NCC) new land management plan recommends closing all the climbing areas within Gatineau Park except for a the small centre section of the Home Cliff, Eastern Block and the Twin Ribs. The plan would also ban any ice climbing and new route development and leave Gatineau Park with only 40 to 50 routes open for climbing. More details here, here and here.
