March 22, 2011 – Pidgeon Smashes Aquarium

Thomasina Pidgeon has added another V12 boulder problem to her impressive ticklist.  Located in Bishop, Aquarium V12 is a relatively long problem with a difficult finishing move. Pidgean climbed the problem quickly but fell off the last hard move seven times before sending. Reflecting on the problem, Pidgeon joked that she should “maybe do routes to get some fitness.”

Pidgeon is one of world’s top female boulders and has done a total of six V12 problems – three of which were climbed this year.
