March 31, 2011 – Pidgeon Slays Beautiful Gecko

Canadian bouldering star Thomasina Pidgeon has again added another V12 boulder problem to her impressive tick list. While climbing in Bishop, Pidgeon spent some time working Beautiful Gecko V12 in the Ice Caves at the Sad Boulders. The problem used to be easier, but holds have broken over the last few years resulting in the grade being bumped up. Pidgeon had been falling at a low percentage hard move, but finally  managed to send the problem when  she tried it “without expectations.”
