May 19, 2011 – Bouldering World Cup Comes to Canmore

On May 27 and 28, Canada will be hosting its first IFSC Bouldering World Cup competition.

On May 27 and 28, Canada will be hosting its first IFSC Bouldering World Cup competition. The event will take place in Canmore and will attract competitors from all over the world.  Some of the boulderers that have already confirmed they will attend include Kilian Fischhuber (Austria), Akiyo Noguchi (Japan), Anna Stohr (Austria), Jain Kim (Korea), Juliane Wurm (Germany), Alex Puccio (USA) and Canadians Vikki Weldon  and Sean McColl. Spectators are encouraged to come out and watch the event ,which will take place at Millennium Park on a custom built wall. More details here.
