During a short trip to Joshua Tree, Sonnie Trotter bagged what’s likely the third ascent of the difficult thin crack Stingray 5.13d. This challenging route was originally climbed on top rope by Mike Paul in the 80s and then later led by Hidetaka Suzuki. The climb has seen little attention since the initial ascents due to the very thin and painful jams.
