Western Canada’s Premier Ice Climbing Festival
Banff is located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. With three ski hills within an hour drive and dozens of world class ice climbs it is no wonder why Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC) is having their ice climbing festival there. MEC, in partnership with Banff Snow Days, is pleased to announce that the festival formerly known as Knucklebasher is back, and better than ever. The MEC Ice Climbing Festival will be held over three days this year. Try ice climbing, check out the latest gear, take a skills clinic, or enter the ice climbing competition. All ages and skill levels can participate.
The outdoor ice climbing wall is located in downtown Banff.
