Michaela Kiersch Sends Golden Ticket 5.14c

Michaela Kiersch, 21, has sent Golden Ticket 5.14c in Red River Gorge for her third route of the grade. The steep route climbs the impressive wall at the Chocolate Factory. The first ascent was in 2009 by Adam Taylor at 5.14d, but was later downgraded after Adam Ondra onsighted it.

Earlier this year, she sent Thantaposis 5.14b, Lucifer 5.14c and Pure Imagination 5.14c at Red River Gorger. As a student in Chicago, she would drive nearly eight hours to get to her Kentucky projects.
