With less than a month until spring, many climbers have already been outdoors rock climbing.
It’s go time for those out there training for a beg send year. It’s Monday and here are a few motivating moves from the Instagram world that would be fun to mimic. Just click on the video to watch.
The first clip is of Shauna Coxsey sticking to it to stick the dyno.
Sooo flipping psyched to stick this!! It took me a while to figure it out. I had to be really specific when hitting the hold, precisely placing my thumbs so that I could control the swing. Thanks for filming every attempt @leahcraneclimbing :)📹 I am LOVING having so many hard, fun boulders at @theclimbinghangar right now!! #dyno #climbing #bouldering #dontwalkunderclimbers
The next clip is of crusher Allison Vest sticking a big move at The Seattle Bouldering Project.
Jan Hojer shows some power on the campus board.
Eric Sethna puts together a compilation of dynos!
Clip five is of the uber strong Jennifer Tavernier demonstrating how to rock the peg board.
A bonus clip six is of Nalle Hukkataival getting the second ascent of Trieste Sit V14 a few weeks ago.
Finally it's warm enough to actually feel your fingers out climbing! Got the 2nd ascent of Trieste Sit (V14) on a solo mission yesterday! Did the @paulrobinson87 version and then next try climbed the full line from the sit opened by @dawoods89. A very technically involved boulder! Could even be bordering V15 from the sit with the slight crumble factor. Maybe not the most striking line around but climbs extremely well and packs a punch! Feels good to finally have temperatures warm enough that climbing is fun! Good times!! #bouldering #rockclimbing #weareisland @lasportivagram @blackdiamond @island_io
