New Chossy Maritime Mixed Route by Fisher and Toron

Max Fisher and Lucas Toron have climbed a new chossy mixed route on the East Coast. Their new route is Fleur de Lis Tatoo’s, a WI3 M5R/X that climbs 35 metres of rotten rock with some ice smears. “Made it home to the Maritimes this week and got out scratching up some coastal choss,” said Fisher.

Fisher and fellow coastal climber Fred Giroux were awarded the 2016 Jon Lachlan Award for thier 2017 trip to climb a new route on the Homathko Icefield on the West Coast. For more info on their trip see here. And for an East Coast guidebook by Fisher see here.
