New Film on Squamish-Based Tim Emmett
Mad For It features the all-round climber and adventurer Tim Emmett talking about some of his greatest sends
Tim Emmett is a Squamish-based climber with over two decades of hard climbing to his name. A new short film was just released featuring Emmett doing what he does best, watch it below.
The film description reads, “One of the most influential adventurers of our time, Tim Emmett has been everywhere, from hucking off of mountains wearing nothing but a wingsuit, mingling with royalty, dangling off a cliff with only air and water below. This Brit has been innovating adventure for almost three decades and shows no signs of slowing down. He’s totally mad for it.”
Some of his biggest sends include the first ascent of Mission to Mars WI13, redpoints of Superman 5.14c, The Path 5.14R, Muy Caliente E9 6c FA and Meshuga E9 6c, and the first ascent of Kedar Dome’s east face in India.
