New Hard Okanagan Boulder Problem is V12

Andy White continues the trend of climbing hard new problems on steep boulders in the Okanagan.

Over the past few years, the Okanagan Valley has become one of Western Canada’s go-to bouldering areas and White has been at the forefront of development.

“A couple nights back, the temps cooled a bit just before dark and I managed to put together a problem I’ve been working for the whole season,” said White.

“It’s one of the best and definitely one of the hardest established lines in the Okanagan.”

White called his newest addition to The Boulderfields, No More Mr. Gneiss Guy V12.

“It climbs on laser-cut holds out a 45 degree overhang, with a large, really difficult crux move. For me, the line seemed nearly perfect, and is just the tip of the iceberg for hard, new lines out here.”
