New Remote Rock in Quebec from Late 2016

In the fall of 2016, Serge Alexandre Demers Giroux, Bruno Demers-Giroux and Véronique Cyr headed to Parc national du Fjord-du-Saguenay. The park is home to the well-known Cap Trinity, but the three climbers went to explore the opposite side of the valley.

With only three days, they battled bad weather but managed to find some solid rock with a number of splitters. The cracks were filled with dirt, so they spent their time cleaning one long route. They left after the weekend with one new route complete and are planning on returning in 2017.
