Taking advantage of a four day window of good weather, Alex and Thomas Huber freed the Eternal Flame on Nameless Tower in the in the Karakorum.

Taking advantage of a four day window of good weather, Alex and Thomas Huber freed the Eternal Flame on Nameless Tower in the in the Karakorum. The 24 pitch route was originally climbed by Wolfgang Gullich and Kurt Albert in 1989 and graded 5.12c A2 VII. The Hubers free climbed the route by adding three new pitches down low and a slight variation on the difficult tenth crux pitch, grading the route 5.13a. More details here.
