Para-Alpinism and a Himalayan First

It’s time to take paragliding and climbing to dizzying new heights. Fabi Buhl joins Will Sim and Jake Holland as they set out to use paragliding as a way to reach new destinations to climb and ski in the Karakoram mountains, Pakistan.​

Inspired by establishing a new way up in the world of mountaineering, they cross glaciated terrain and snow-capped mountains – which have thwarted so many people before them.​ With a unique combination of alpine climbing and piloting expertise, Gulmit Tower’s (5,801 m) ascent proves to be the perfect setting for their adventure.​
