Here is an interesting analysis of the 2013 Piolet d’Or awards where the jury gave the award to all six of the nominated ascents. This announcement has resulted in some climbers questioning the jury’s decision. In fact, journalist Manu Rivaud and Claude Gardien, the editor of Vertical have both resigned from the Piolet d’Or organizing committee.
