From January 28 to February 13, Will Gadd, John Freeman, Sarah Hueniken and Katie Bono spent countless hours establishing Canada’s biggest, wildest mixed climb, see here for more details.  Emmett and Premerl started to work through the pitches and a recent cold-spell gave them the conditions necessary to send.

"Pitch one of Overhead Hazard aka The Warm Up, M10, Klem heading up into the steepness, such great climbing on frozen blobs. Need some super powers if we're going to get to the top of this bad boy! This route is the hardest climbing I've ever tried," said Emmett Photo Tim Emmett

"Thought of the day - 'If we can do the crux pitch and get to here, then we have 100 metres of M11 before it eases off !' Will Gadd you're a machine! This route is totally outrageous, like no other mixed climb in the world, apart from Spray On Top, but this is way harder. Such a fine effort from the team establishing this one. Four weeks needed to prepare and climb it with temps as low as minus 30 degrees Celsius." Photo Tim Emmett

Clash of the Titans

Emmett and Premrl established Clash of the Titans, WI10+, in early February. Angelika Rainer made quick work of the route and repeated it shortly after its first ascent. Read Rainer’s full account of her ascent on Planet Mountain.
