Ronnie Dickson First Above the Knee Amputee to Send V10

Watch this short film about Ronnie Dickson as he works to become the first above the knee amputee climber to climb V10 with a send of Resident Evil in Joe’s Valley.

A few years ago, Dickson sent Dragon Turns V9 in the Shawangunks of New York after three days of effort. The problem was his hardest to date and he was likely the second leg amputee in the U.S. to boulder V9, after Craig DeMartino.

Dickson, who works as a prosthetist in Florida, chose to have his leg amputated as a teenager after suffering from a congenital bone disorder. He started climbing a few years later.
