Safer Approaches to Bugaboo Rock Climbs
Friends of Bugaboo Park have shared some alternative approaches to those often used

The Bugaboos are a popular alpine rock climbing destination from June to September, with mid-summer being the area’s busiest season. Due to drier than normal conditions, many of the popular approaches have been affected.
The famous Bugaboo/Snowpatch Col is pretty much a no-go due to extreme rockfall hazards – see photos of what it looks like here. Approaches to several other features, such as Crescent Towers is also suffering from more rockfall than normal.
